Clean Cars 4 All
This program is for lower-income consumers to shift from high-pollution vehicles to cleaner alternatives, such as cleaner technology vehicles and transit passes to reduce smog-forming pollutants. The incentive amounts are based on family income and replacement vehicle chosen. This program is currently available only to residents of San Joaquin and the South Coast.
Tune In and Tune Up
The district of San Joaquin is currently accepting applications for the Drive Clean! Rebate Program for residents of the valley and businesses for the purchase of lease of new, clean air vehicles. To be considered for this rebate the vehicle must be on this Eligible Vehicle List. Check out the Application Form.
Replace your Ride
Run by the South Coast Air Quality Management District, this program allows the replacement of a high-polluting vehicle with a newer vehicle, replace it with a hybrid or electric vehicle, or receive vouchers for rideshares or public transit passes. It is restricted to vehicle owners who reside in the jurisdiction of the South Coast Air Quality Management District who meet the income and vehicle requirements.

Clean Vehicle Assistance Program
This program, funded by California Climate Investments, provides grants and affordable financing to help income-qualified California residents to purchase a new or used hybrid or electric vehicle. Battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids can also include a free charging unit with installation support, up to a $2,000 value.
Although this program is currently closed, you can check your eligibility and submit an interest form until it is reopened later this year.
