EDUCATION
Master of Resource Management, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canda, Fall 2006. Thesis: Combining stated and revealed choice research to inform energy system simulation models: The case of hybrid-electric vehicles. Advisor Dr. Mark Jaccard.
Bachelor of Buisness Administration, First class honors, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, Fall 2004.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Jonn is investigating the role of interpersonal influence and "diffusion" in the adoption of environmentally-friendly vehicle technologies, including the potential emphasis on "social" benefits of vehicle purchas (e.g. environmental and political attributes). Jonn is also exploring the early market for plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEVs), including the opportunities and constraints of existing infrastructure, consumer perceptions of electric-drive technology, interests in speicific PHEV designs, and the potential energy-related impacts of PHEV use.
